Who We Are
Premier Medical Centre is an NHS GP practice in Wembley. We look after over 14,600 patients across Wembley, Brent and the surrounding areas. The Care Quality Commission rates us ‘Good’, and we’re proud to help train the next generation of doctors.
Our team of GPs, nurses, pharmacists and support staff all aim for same goal: to provide excellent, caring treatment to one of London’s most diverse communities. Between us, we speak over 10 languages, including Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu, Sindhi and Arabic. This means most patients can talk to us in their own language.
We’re also home to The Uni Doctor at Middlesex University, an NHS GP service for students at Middlesex University, Hendon. Both services now share one website, so patients and students can find what they need in one place.
Our Story
Premier Medical Centre has served Wembley for decades. We’ve grown alongside the area we call home. What began as a small, family-run GP practice is now a big team with many different roles. Yet, we still maintain the personal, community vibe that defines us.
We’ve often been among the first to try new ways of working. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we were one of the first practices in London to offer telephone appointments. We sent over 200,000 messages to patients in different languages. This helped to keep our community safe and informed during a tough time.
We’re still doing this today. Our Blinx system lets you contact us and get the right care quickly, often without needing to call. We also use AI tools behind the scenes to support our clinical team — so they can spend more time with patients, and less time on paperwork.
Our aim is simple: use education and technology to make healthcare easier for you, without losing the personal touch.

Our Team
Our clinical team brings together years of experience and fresh ideas. Some of our GPs have worked in Wembley for a long time. Others are newer to the team and bring new skills and energy.
Alongside our GPs, we have nurse practitioners, clinical pharmacists, healthcare assistants, social prescribers, a physiotherapist, dietician, and more. This means we have a wide range of expert help, all in one place.
Our management and admin teams work hard behind the scenes too. They help make sure your experience with us — from your first contact to any follow-up — is as smooth and easy as possible.
Your Named GP
Every patient registered with us is given a named GP. This GP oversees your care and works with other health and social care professionals when needed.
What this means for you:
- You do not need to see your named GP every time you book an appointment
- You can still choose to see any GP or nurse at the practice
- Your named GP does not take on 24-hour responsibility for your care
- We will tell you who your named GP is when you register with us

The Uni Doctor at Middlesex University
The Uni Doctor is an NHS GP service for students at Middlesex University, Hendon, run by Premier Medical Centre. It offers the same great care as our Wembley practice, and is designed for students. You can get in-person and phone appointments during term time. There’s also mental health support, and easy referral options.
