Sick Notes
Request a fit note (sick note) without coming in.
If you need a fit note (sometimes called a sick note) for your employer, you can request one through Blinx, our online front door. You don’t usually need a face-to-face appointment.
Good to Know
- For the first 7 days of illness you do not need a fit note from a GP — you can self-certify with your employer.
- A clinician will review your request and issue a fit note where appropriate, usually without needing to see you.
- Fit notes can be sent to you digitally through the NHS App.
