Online Access

You can use the NHS App to see your health information, test results, and order repeat prescriptions.

Why use online access?

Once you're set up, you can:

  • Order repeat prescriptions
  • View parts of your medical record
  • See your test results
  • Send a message to the practice
  • Update your contact details

Please note: you cannot currently book, change, or cancel appointments through online access. To do this, please call us or use our online booking system.

Request online access

Some people also help manage someone else's care. For this, you can request 'proxy access'. Which will allow you to see the other person's record through your own app.

What is proxy access?

Proxy access lets you manage another person's GP online account, using your own login.

You do not need to use their password. You get your own separate account instead.

This is often used by:

  • Parents managing a young child's appointments and prescriptions
  • Carers looking after an adult who needs support managing their healthcare online

How to request proxy access

If you'd like to become a proxy for someone, please request this online. We'll ask a few questions to check everything is set up correctly and safely.

Don't have the NHS App yet?

Proxy access works through the NHS App, so you'll need to download it first if you haven't already.
