It’s been a little while since our last edition, as we’ve been busy working behind the scenes on the redesign of our website, and refreshing how we share updates with our patients. In this issue, we’re pleased to tell you more about our new-look website, upcoming annual health reviews, our returning Drive-Thru Flu Vaccine Clinic, how to get involved in our Patient Participation Group, and ways to manage your care online through the NHS App.
You may have noticed that things are looking a little different at Premier Medical Centre.
We’re delighted to introduce our refreshed website, designed to make it quicker and easier for you to find what you need. The new site has clearer navigation, easier access to our online services and a simple registration process for anyone wishing to join the practice.
Whether you need to contact us about a health concern, order a repeat prescription, access practice information or find out more about the services available to you, everything is now easier to find.
Visit us at premiermedicalcentre.nhs.uk and have a look around.

Over the next few months, you may hear from the PMC team as we invite eligible patients to attend their annual health review.
This may include patients living with long-term conditions such as asthma, heart failure, diabetes, high blood pressure, a learning disability, and other ongoing health conditions.
Annual reviews are an important opportunity for us to check how you’re doing, monitor your condition, and identify any changes that may need attention. Depending on your individual needs, your review may include checks such as your blood pressure, blood tests and heart checks, as well as a conversation about your medication, general health and how you are managing day to day.
In many cases, once we have received and reviewed your results, you will also have a follow-up appointment with one of our clinicians. This gives us the opportunity to talk through your results, review how things are going, and agree any next steps in your care.
We may contact you by text message, email or phone. If you receive an invitation from Premier Medical Centre, please respond so that we can arrange your review.

After the great success we had last year, our popular Drive-Thru Flu Vaccination Clinic will be back this October.
It’s a quick and convenient way for eligible patients to receive their flu vaccination and help protect themselves ahead of the winter months.
We’ll be sharing the full details shortly, including the date, times, eligibility and how to book, so keep an eye on our website, messages and social media.
More information coming soon!
Would you like to have a say in how services at Premier Medical Centre develop?
We’re looking to restart our Patient Participation Group (PPG) and would love to hear from both previous members and patients who may be interested in joining for the first time.
The PPG brings patients and the practice together to share ideas, discuss priorities and help us better understand what matters most to our local community. It’s an opportunity to have a voice in how services develop and to help us improve the overall patient experience.
You don’t need any previous experience or specialist knowledge to take part. We’re simply looking for patients who are interested in getting involved, sharing their views and helping us shape the future of PMC.
If you were previously part of our PPG, we’d be delighted to welcome you back. If you’re new to the group, we’d be equally pleased to hear from you.
If you’re interested, please submit your email address below and a member of our team will be in touch.

The NHS App gives you a quick and secure way to manage many routine parts of your healthcare without needing to telephone or visit the practice.
Depending on the services available to you, you can use it to:
• order repeat prescriptions
• view test results and parts of your medical record
• access health information and documents
• manage other NHS services
It’s free and secure, and you can access the service from your phone or computer.
If you haven’t started using it yet, click here to get started. If you need some help getting set up, please speak to our reception team.
We hope you’ve found this month’s update useful.
Thank you for being part of the Premier Medical Centre community, and from all of us at PMC, we wish you and your family good health throughout the month ahead.
